As we will be providing you root access, you are free to install pretty much any software that is compatible with your Cloud Server package. However, any software that in in violation to our Acceptable Usage Policy will not be allowed.

Yes, you can install any control panel of your choice. ChartyHost.org does not sell licenses for paid control panels, but you can purchase these directly from the control panel developer websites or 3rd party resellers such as cplicense.net or websoftsolus.com
Do you support the installed control panels?
Yes, we fully support the control panels we install. Our premier sponsored control panel is Plesk Panel due to it’s performance, security, features, & stability. However, we also install and support cPanel/WHM.
What control portal is offered for VPS Hosting Servers?
All Cloud Servers can be managed from your account login at https://charityhost.org/account/. You can power cycle, console the VPS Server, change hostname/password, and reinstall the operating system at any time. Fully managed monthly backups are included at the end of each month for all VPS servers included. However, they do not guarantee backup integrity especially for servers running any database. Please contact us for the best backup solutions for your specific needs. We also have addon backup plans to suit your backup and restoration needs.
How can I reinstall the OS on a VPS Server?
You can reinstall the OS from your https://charityhost.org/account/ client area. All data on the server will be lost in the process. So please use our support channels to resolve issues on your server before opting for an OS reinstallation. There is no charge incurred for OS reinstallations.
Can I upgrade my VPS Server to a Dedicated Server?
Yes. You can upgrade to our dedicated hosting servers at any time by ordering a new server. We can also help you migrate your data from your current account to your new dedicated server at a nominal fee.
How long does it take to get the server set up?
We target to get you up and running as soon as possible. Our standard server configurations can be set up in a few minutes, however a few server add-ons and some custom configurations might require longer setup times.
How do you monitor your data centers and servers?
Our system admin team is available 24/7/365 to ensure our servers are running at peak performance and so are your sites. We actively monitor the web hosting servers uptime and resources. We also perform scheduled malware scans and security audits on our servers.
Can I switch between VPS Server plans?
Yes. Our Cloud Server plans are scalable. This means you can upgrade your existing plan at any point in time. Upgrades require a server reboot.
What is your refund policy?
VPS servers have a 15 day full refund guarantee (as long as the terms of service and acceptable use policies where followed). All dedicated server order payments are final as the resources are allocated as requested for that period of time. Refunds are only given at the sole discretion of CharityHost.org.
